The Jurassic Coast, Weymouth Beach, Bowleaze Cove, Greenhill Beach are some of the top seaside sights to check out, golden sands, gardens and sea views galore. It really is the best of Dorset and there’s few better walks in the area.

If you’re after some historic sights, Nothe Fort and Sandsfoot Castle are close by and have gorgeous sea views. There’s plenty to learn and discover about Dorset’s heritage and the backdrop of great views is just the icing on the cake.

For indoor exhibits and things to do, you can’t beat the huge and expertly designed sand sculptures at Sandworld, or the mesmerising fish at Sea Life Centre Weymouth. Fantasy Island Fun Park and Fun Factory are great places to take the kids too.

Frequently asked questions

We’re steak specialists, so it’s no surprise that our most popular dish is one of our finest cuts of steak. Our 12oz fillet steaks are aged for 30 days minimum for the most flavour, then expertly grilled by our talented chefs. We serve our steaks with grilled flat cap mushrooms, half a slow roasted tomato, cheddar & caramelised onion brioche loaf and triple-cooked chips, and top it all off with garlic & parsley butter and our special Malbec sauce.

At Weymouth Beefeater we serve one of the best Sunday roasts in town. Choose from our specialty roast sirloin of beef, rump of lamb, half-roast chicken or butternut squash & ale pie, served with all the trimmings and our signature red wine gravy. You also get unlimited roast potatoes and other delicious extras.

It’s got to be the Premier Inn Breakfast, which we serve at Weymouth Beefeater. An unlimited selection of the best of an English breakfast. That’s bacon, eggs cooked just how you like them, hash browns, black pudding, bagels, muffins, toast and plenty more with free tea and coffee.
