Moor Farm Newcastle restaurant Beefeater

Casual, comfy dining and the best steaks in town – stop by Moor Farm Beefeater for the perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner in Cramlington and Newcastle. We have a varied menu to cater to everyone, a refreshing range of drinks and a wonderful atmosphere with friendly service.

Our team
Our team at Moor Farm Beefeater are what really makes us shine! Every single member of our team is warm and welcoming, and they’ll go out of their way to make your meal the best it can be. Most of our team have been with us for over 15 years – we’re so happy our team love being here as much as we love having them with us.

We do a lot of work in the community, including supporting the local football and cricket teams. We work with schools in the area to promote working in hospitality, and we offer apprenticeships and work experience placements to give students first-hand experience. We also host the local care home residents twice a year for a delightful lunch, and we’re a popular spot for offices to bring their clients for dinner. All in all, everyone loves us! And so much of that is down to the hard work of our amazing team.

Our location
Moor Farm Beefeater is in a great spot, just off the A19/A1, two miles from Cramlington Town Centre and ideal for visits up to Northumberland. We were originally a Brewers Fayre restaurant, but 15 years ago we became a Beefeater, and we’ve been serving perfectly grilled steak ever since!

Our restaurant is massive and perfect for hosting events. We have separate zones for small meetings and quieter spots for eating in peace away from the general hubbub of the main dining area. We’ve got a brilliant garden space, function rooms for weddings, christenings and parties for up to 80 people. We’ve also got plenty of parking!

We’re looking forward to hosting fun regular events like quiz nights again soon, watch this space!

Make sure to take a look at our offers page for all our latest deals and promotions.

Why we love Newcastle
Newcastle is one of the most vibrant, fun places to visit in the North East and it’s only a 30-minute drive from our restaurant. If you’re stopping by the city, we recommend a trip to historic Newcastle Castle (everyone loves a bit of repetition – but it’s worth it we promise!), the Life Science Centre and glitzy Gateshead Millennium Bridge. If you drive a little way out of the city, make sure to visit the Angel of the North and Hadrian’s Wall – two very different examples of just what makes Newcastle so special.

We’re great for a quick bite to eat before a trip to the coast too, we’re only a 20-minute drive away from Whitley Bay and Long Sands Beach, two of the best beaches in the area. There’s nothing more convenient for a family trip to the seaside than stopping by a brilliant, family-friendly restaurant before and after your trip!

Closer to home, we’re only a five-minute drive away from Cramlington Town Centre, with unique shops, supermarkets and a bustling high street. There’s even bowling alleys, swimming pool and a climbing wall, great for a fun day out after eating with us!

Frequently asked questions

We’re famous for our steaks for good reason! Our 10oz ribeye steak is one of our juiciest cuts, aged for a minimum of 30 days, packed with flavour and served with chunky triple cooked chips, crispy flat mushroom, juicy grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce.

We are, and we just happen to do the best Sunday roast in town. With our Sunday roasts you can choose from our specialty roast sirloin of beef, rump of lamb, half-roast chicken or butternut squash & ale pie, served with all the trimmings and our signature red wine gravy. You also get unlimited roast potatoes and other delicious extras.

It’s got to be the Premier Inn Breakfast, which we serve at Moor Farm Beefeater. An unlimited selection of the best of an English breakfast. That’s bacon, eggs cooked just how you like them, hash browns, black pudding, toast and plenty more with free tea and coffee.

Moor Farm is great for kids! We have a menu full of your kids’ favourites, lots of open space and a great outdoor space for kids to run around in on warmer days.

We welcome all kinds of group bookings at the Moor Farm Beefeater, so come and join us for great-value food and drink, whatever the occasion. Get in touch with our friendly Moor Farm team by booking online or by phone on 01912 502 770 to find out more about our group bookings in Newcastle.

There sure is. We have a good number of benches outside with parasols and a spacious garden area, perfect for eating out on a warm day!

Oh yes, we have a big car park that’s free for our guests.

Dogs are always a welcome addition to our beer garden and outdoor dining area. We can’t allow dogs inside our restaurant itself though.
