Our team
We have a real mix of age and experience on our team, which makes our service so much better. We’re fortunate to have a lot of younger people on our team who bring a new outlook and new ideas to our restaurant. They’re guided by team members who have been with us for years, giving us the perfect combination of energy and experience – which is great news for our guests, who can expect world-class service, delicious meals and a new perspective on eating out.
Most of our team live locally, and we make a real effort to invest in young people locally by hiring students, providing part time work and apprenticeship opportunities while people are at college and university.
Our location
The Parkway has had a lot of labels of the years, but it’s always had a reputation for being somewhere the whole community could come together and relax. That’s still the same as it’s always been, but as a Beefeater, we’re able to serve mouth-watering steaks alongside all the classics. The Parkway Beefeater is probably best known for the distinctive clock tower and poem painted on the Premier Inn Guildford North (A3) hotel next door.
Our restaurant has everything you need to enjoy a great meal. We have a spacious dining area with plenty of tables, a quiet bar area that’s comfy and a great space to get work done during the day, but with a screen showing all the biggest games at night. We also have an outdoor patio area with lots of benches and parasols, perfect for a pint in the sun.
We have a large car park next door, full baby changing facilities and free Wi-Fi throughout our restaurant.

You’ve got to try our steaks! Our 8oz fillet steaks are one of our tastiest cuts and, like all our steaks, they’re aged for a minimum of 30 days, grilled to perfection, packed with flavour and served with chunky triple cooked chips, crispy flat mushroom, juicy grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce.
You can’t go wrong with our mixed grill either. We recommend upgrading to a juicy 4oz sirloin steak, succulent chicken breast, 5oz gammon steak and pork sausages, served with half a slow roasted tomato, grilled flat cap mushroom, fried egg, crispy beer-battered onion rings and triple-cooked chips.
