At the Orchard Beefeater in Ruislip, we care about giving you a great welcome and serving the best steaks around. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a little time to yourself, whether that’s with one of our specialty fillet steak cuts, traditional pub grub or just one of our great choice of drinks. Everyone’s welcome and we can’t wait to see you!
We have the best team - not only have they worked with us for years, but they’re always friendly and willing to go the extra mile for our guests. Having a team like ours is a blessing, from kitchen to table they take pride in what they do, and they’re dedicated to giving you the best meal every time.
We like to do our bit for the community, we help local charities with raffle prizes and support them through local social media pages.
Our humble little restaurant is actually a national heritage site. During the First and Second World Wars, the Orchard was a vital centre for rest and relaxation for heroic Polish pilots. Back then, the Orchard was a ‘dinner and dance’ venue and high-ranking soldiers used to drop by all the time. We’ve changed a little since then, but in our heart we’re still the same: a place for the community to come together and unwind, safe and sound with all the best food and entertainment.
We have a spacious bar and dining area, complete with a pool table and all the big games on BT Sports. We have easy access throughout the restaurant, including to our function event area with more than enough space for buffets for big events. We’ve got a huge outdoor pub garden with a historic, genuine WW2 warplane on display, enclosed with hedges and gorgeous countryside views – there’s no better spot for lunch in the sun.

Why we love London Ruislip
You don’t need us to tell you how amazing London is, everyone knows it’s full of things to do whether you’re looking to shop, planning on visiting all the big sights in Central London or exploring cultural and historic places. We’re in a secluded part of the city away from all the noise, but with really good connections to everything that’s going on. We’re right next to Tube lines on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines, with trains running to London every four minutes. We’re also close from West Ruislip station to London, with a train every eight minutes. You could fill up with a mixed grill with us, then head to Oxford Street, find yourself in front of Big Ben or walking along London Bridge in just 20 minutes.
But there’s plenty of things to do nearby in Ruislip too. Colne Valley National Park is only a 10-minute drive away, perfect for a family day out after enjoying a delicious meal out with us. Ruislip Woods, the Ruislip Lido and Lido Railway through Northala Fields are all other great spots close by, and a really great alternative trip to London if you’ve already seen all the big sights.
