Why we love Wenvoe, Cardiff
Our namesake, the Walston Castle, was built in the 1530s. Times have changed a little since then, but we’re still proud to be associated with this historic place in one of the most scenic parts of the country near Cardiff.

Our 8oz fillet steaks are one of our tastiest cuts and, like all our steaks, they’re aged for a minimum of 30 days, grilled to perfection, packed with flavour and served with chunky triple cooked chips, crispy flat mushroom, juicy grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce. We recommend asking for your steak medium-rare for the best taste and texture, but if that’s not your favourite don’t worry – we’ll always cook your steak exactly how you want it.
