Why we love Kenton, Harrow
Kenton is in a unique part of London. We’re in the middle of Harrow and Brent, with close ties to Middlesex. This is a very different London to what most people expect – we’re all about scenic villages, gorgeous parks and walks in the countryside.
We’re only a short five-minute drive away from Harrow on the Hill, a beautiful village nearby and perfect for an afternoon walk. There’s Northwick Park, a lovely open outdoor space that’s great for kids. Kenton Recreation Ground also has a bike track and a park for fun days out. Wherever you’re headed, we’re the best place to relax and refuel before you set off.
Getting to Central London from the Travellers Rest Beefeater is easy too. We’re only a five-minute walk away from Northwick Park Station, which has direct Tube trains to Paddington on the Bakerloo line. You could enjoy a full English breakfast with us and be strolling past Big Ben or shopping on Oxford Street in an hour!
We’re most famous for our steaks, and it’s not hard to see why! Our 8oz fillet steak is one of our most tender cuts and, like all our steaks, it’s aged for a minimum of 30 days, grilled to perfection, packed with flavour and served with chunky triple cooked chips, crispy flat mushroom, juicy grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce.
Our surf and turf combo is another firm favourite. A lean and juicy 8oz sirloin steak cooked exactly how you want it, with jumbo prawns drizzled in garlic & parsley, crispy lightly dusted seasoned calamari also served with triple-cooked chips and a lemon & garlic mayo. Delicious!
Our Sunday lunches are always great. With our Sunday roasts you can choose from our specialty roast sirloin of beef, rump of lamb, half-roast chicken or butternut squash & ale pie, served with all the trimmings and our signature red wine gravy. You also get unlimited roast potatoes and other delicious extras.
It’s got to be the Premier Inn Breakfast, which we serve at the Travellers Rest Beefeater. An unlimited selection of the best of an English breakfast. That’s bacon, eggs cooked just how you like them, hash browns, black pudding, toast and plenty more with free tea and coffee.
At the Travellers Rest Beefeater we’re all about, well, resting! Let us take the hassle out of your family meals: ours kids’ menu is full of dishes your children will love, our team are great with kids, and we have a big outdoor space for kids to run around in. Best of all, up to two kids can eat breakfast for free when an adult orders a Premier Inn Breakfast!
